Downsizing Sale at On Eagle’s Wings Acres
We’re doing a bit of refocusing here at On Eagle’s Wings Acres, and will be downsizing some of our animals to concentrate more on our sheep and poultry. All animals listed below are unregistered but healthy, well-cared for, and accustomed to a homestead lifestyle.
If you’re looking to add some friendly faces to your farm or hobby homestead, take a look at what we have available below! I will add current pictures as I take some.Nigerian Dwarf Goats
These little goats are a favorite for homesteads and families alike. They’re compact, easy-to-handle, and full of personality. Most are unregistered, but have been raised with care. Funny enough, our foundation does were registered with the NDGA, and our foundation buck is registered with the AGS, but I never got around to getting them on the same registry. I can give details for each goat upon request. This list includes our very favorite doe, Clover, who is an amazing mama, and very social with people.
Clover- Nigerian Dwarf doe, 4 years old, disbudded, has had twins three times (including two of the new babies listed below), her mother was a triplet, Bellemeadow dairy lines. $300
Karen- Nigerian Dwarf doe, 2 years old, just kidded with twins this December, horned, her mother was also a triplet (Clover is her cousin). White with blue eyes. $300
Basil- Nigerian Dwarf buck, registered with the AGS, 6 years old, disbudded (with scurs), proven many times over and has adorable kids. Blue Cactus dairy lines. Exceptionally sociable and friendly. He has been pastured with day-old kids and their mamas many times, and is an absolute gentleman with them. I have zero worries about my little (human) kids going out in the pasture with him. He is truly the ideal homestead family buck. $200
Sage- Nigerian Dwarf buck, son of Basil, 4 years old, white with blue eyes, disbudded (with scurs), not as social with people as Basil but still very gentle, and a gentleman with the ladies. $150Bottle Babies- All babies can go to their new homes as bottle babies in 2-3 weeks, or in a couple of months weaned from mama. Alternatively, take home a mama and her babies together for an adorable starter herd, at a discount.

Born December 13th from Karen. The light-colored one is a doeling, with blue eyes. She will be a stunner when she is grown! $300
The darker colored one is a buckling. $150

Born December 21st from Clover. They are both bucklings. $150 each
Miniature Horse Mare – $1500
Marshmallow is about 6 years old, and green broke to ride. This little mare would be a sweet and flashy addition to any small farm. Leads, stands for the farrier, all that jazz. She comes right up to you in the pasture, and is easy to catch. She is very in-your-pocket, curious, and always wants to be in the middle of everything. Marshmallow is sound, healthy, and is an easy keeper. She is pictured at the top of this post, and available to meet in person.
Miniature Donkey Jenny – $850
This 12 year old jenny is gentle and used to being around goats, horses, and children. Syl is a perfect pasture companion and loves a good scratch. She was a rescue, so most of her background is unknown. My understanding is that she is broke to ride (for very little kids, of course), but I have never tried. I was also told she has had several foals. I believe she foundered at some point in her life, but we’ve never had any issues (note that we are careful not to let her weight creep up, and are slow about putting her out on spring grass, but she’s not on any medications or dry-lotted). Syl loves being around people, but has also been pastured with horses, cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, and poultry with no issues.
Dexter Cattle
Dexters are a wonderful, dual-purpose breed for small farms, and we have one available:
Miss Maple Moo- Dexter cow, great mom that calves unassisted. She is currently open (not bred). We’re still deciding whether to let this girl go. She’s been a great dairy cow for us, very easy to milk, and is happy on much smaller pastures than full-size ladies. We’ve never had a health issue with her. If you’re looking for a hardy family cow, she might be the one! $2500
Interested?
We are located in Panama City, Florida. Local pickup only for the larger hoofstock, but we can arrange delivery for a fee within the surrounding area for any of the smaller guys.
Feel free to message us through our Facebook page or contact me at 850-890-2389 for more info, photos, or to schedule a visit. We’d love to see these animals go to great homes! -

Chicks Coming Soon!
Morning all!
We’ve received a number of calls regarding chicks in the last week or so, and I’ve hated having to tell people we don’t have any right now. Typically, we start getting lots of interest in chicks in March, but the rising egg prices are driving earlier than usual requests.
We have a full incubator of chicken and duck eggs going right now, and will be starting a second incubator shortly to keep up with demand.
I will post here and on Facebook when hatch day rolls around (about 17 more days).
One farm update, unrelated to chick news. We are suspending scheduling parties on the farm for the next few months. We are working on some exciting renovations on the farm right now to better serve both our livestock and our customers, but until they are completed, we won’t have our usual venue space open to host parties. Sorry! Hopefully, we will be back on that soon. We are planning to have a big open farm day when the renovations are complete, to welcome folks back to the farm.
Until then, we will still be selling chicks/ducklings, lamb/pig shares, meat chickens, and fresh eggs as usual. We are also opening the waitlist for Thanksgiving turkeys soon. Please reach out with any questions. I’m easiest to reach by text (850-890-2389), but we also have e-mail and Facebook messenger.
